I weighed myself in the morning, when it is recommended and I did weigh 275. I was just guesstimating when I first wrote it down haha.
I ate/drank:
- 5 medium/large glasses of water
- 2 strawberry lemonades
- 1 very small mixed drink
- 1 1/2 scoops of Cheeseburger Macaroni Hamburger Helper without hamburger
- 1 blue Popsicle
- 2 packages of cheese crackers (4 crackers each)
- 2 rolls with chicken salad
- carrots with ranch
- small handful of animal crackers
- 1/2 bowl of Kahlua chicken with rice
- 3/4 plate of chicken alfredo from The Olive Garden
- 2 bread sticks
I could have done better, but it wasn't too bad. I need to start eating less packaged, salty, or sweet foods and more fresh fruits and veggies. We'll see how that works out!

ReplyDeletethis is a great site which give nutrition facts on most of the restaurants. It is a good idea to plan ahead and figure out what you will order before you go. for example chicken alfredo from olive garden for the full plate would be 1430 calories and 82 grams of fat. Each bread stick is another 150 calories. But Olive Garden does offer what they call Garden Fare selections and each of those if under 750 calories for dinner or 400 for lunch. So if you don't get a chance to plan ahead, that can be a safe choice. I have been surprised several times when I thought I was eating a healthy choice out and found out that it was way worse then I expected. What I found worked for me is to way limit carb intakes and make sure that the carbs I do eat are healthy (mostly basmati rice, red potatoes and whole wheat whole grain organic bread)During the week I don't eat anything that has more then 4 grams of sugar and no more then 9grams a meal, and also limit myself to one serving of carbs. (except what is in fruits and veggies, but still count potatoes) during the weekend I give myself a little more wiggle room, but no more then two meals that are not the best.
